The short version: By using PlopIt you agree to these Terms. You must be at least 18 and signed in with Google to scan. Always review extracted events before pushing them to your calendar — AI is not perfect. A scan uses a credit when it finds events; your first scan each day that finds no events is free. Unlimited subscriptions have a fair use limit of 470 scans that find events per 30 days. Subscriptions renew automatically and can be cancelled anytime: on the website from your account, or for subscriptions bought in the iPhone app, in your iPhone's Settings. Credit purchases are non-refundable once any credit in the bundle has been used. Do not misuse the Service.
By accessing or using PlopIt ("the Service"), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User") and PlopIt Pte. Ltd. ("Operator", "we", "us", "our"), a company incorporated in Singapore operating the Service. These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore.
If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent and warrant that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If we learn that a user is under 18, we will delete their account and data. If you believe someone under 18 is using the Service, please contact us at the email below.
PlopIt is an AI-powered service, available as a website and a mobile app, that extracts scheduled events from documents you upload and adds them to your Google Calendar when you choose to. The Service uses artificial intelligence to interpret dates, times, venues, and event details from uploaded files.
You must sign in with a Google account to scan files. Supported file formats are PDF, Microsoft Word (.docx), Microsoft Excel (.xlsx), CSV, plain text, and image files (such as PNG and JPG). Some formats may only be available on the website.

The use of artificial intelligence in the Service means that event extraction is not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or error-free. By using the Service, you expressly acknowledge and agree that:
The Operator expressly disclaims all responsibility for any consequences arising from inaccurate, incomplete, or erroneous event extraction, including but not limited to missed appointments, scheduling conflicts, or business losses.
PlopIt offers three ways to use the Service: a free allowance of scans (currently 3 every 30 days), one-time credit bundle purchases, and an optional recurring monthly subscription for unlimited use subject to a fair use limit. Payments on the website are processed securely by Stripe. Purchases in the PlopIt iPhone app are made through Apple's App Store and charged to your Apple ID by Apple. The Operator does not store your card details. Credits and subscriptions belong to your PlopIt account (your Google sign-in), so they can be used on both the website and the iPhone app.
When a scan uses a credit. If you are not a subscriber, each scan uses one credit (from your free allowance or purchased credits) as follows:
Credit bundles. Purchased credits never expire and are added to your account balance immediately upon successful payment. Credit bundle purchases are one-time payments and are non-refundable once any credit from that purchase has been used. If no credit from the purchase has been used, you may request a refund by contacting us at the email below within 14 days of purchase. Purchases made in the iPhone app are refunded by Apple under Apple's own policies; you can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Subscription plan. The subscription is billed monthly in advance and renews automatically until cancelled. Subscribers do not use credits. The subscription is described as "unlimited" subject to a fair use limit of 470 scans that find events in any rolling 30-day period, intended to accommodate normal individual use. Scans that find no events do not count towards this limit. We will email you when you reach 400 scans in a 30-day period. If you reach 470, scanning pauses until older scans pass the 30-day mark; please contact us if you need more. The Operator may also contact accounts showing abnormal or automated usage patterns inconsistent with normal use.
Subscriptions bought in the iPhone app. Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically each month at the same price unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your Apple ID is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the current period ends. You can manage or cancel it in your iPhone's Settings, under your name and then Subscriptions.
Cancelling your subscription. You may cancel your subscription at any time, without contacting the Operator: for a subscription bought on the website, via the "Manage Subscription" option in your account; for a subscription bought in the iPhone app, in your iPhone's Settings, under your name and then Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain access to unlimited scanning until that date, and you will not be charged again afterward. The Operator does not provide partial refunds for the unused portion of a billing period.
If your subscription is cancelled or lapses, your account reverts to the free allowance. Any separately purchased credit bundles are unaffected by subscription cancellation and remain available on your account, since they never expire.
To use the Service, you must sign in with Google and grant PlopIt permission to manage events in your Google Calendar. By granting this permission, you acknowledge that:
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
You retain full ownership of all files you upload to the Service. By uploading a file, you grant the Operator a limited, temporary, non-exclusive licence to process that file for the sole purpose of extracting calendar event information on your behalf. This licence terminates immediately upon completion of processing.
You represent and warrant that you have the right to upload and process any file you submit to the Service, and that doing so does not violate any law, regulation, or third party rights.
You acknowledge that files containing sensitive personal data of third parties — including but not limited to employee schedules, client information, or medical records — are subject to applicable data protection laws, and that you remain responsible for compliance with those laws when uploading such files to the Service.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable Singapore law, the Operator shall not be liable for any loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with your use of the Service, including but not limited to:
The Operator's total aggregate liability to you for any and all claims arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to the Operator in the three months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or SGD $50, whichever is greater.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable Singapore law.
In the event of a data breach affecting your personal data, the Operator will notify the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC) of Singapore and affected individuals as required under the Personal Data Protection Act 2012, without undue delay and in any event within the timeframes prescribed by law. Notification will include, where known, the nature of the breach, the data affected, and steps individuals can take to protect themselves.
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
The Operator does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components, or that any defects will be corrected.
The Service, including its software, design, branding, and all related materials, is owned by the Operator and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws in Singapore and internationally. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit any part of the Service without prior written permission from the Operator.
Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you. Your right to use the Service is a limited, personal, non-transferable licence that may be revoked at any time.
PlopIt is currently in beta testing. This means:
The Operator reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately and without notice if the Operator reasonably believes you have violated these Terms or are using the Service in a manner that is harmful to the Service, other users, or third parties.
You may stop using the Service at any time, and you can delete your account using the Delete Account option in the app. To cancel a subscription, use the "Manage Subscription" option in your account on the website, or, for a subscription bought in the iPhone app, your iPhone's Settings, under your name and then Subscriptions. Deleting your PlopIt account does not cancel an App Store subscription; cancel it in your iPhone's Settings first. To revoke Google access, visit myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall do so, including but not limited to Sections 3, 4, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 16.
The Operator may update these Terms from time to time. The updated Terms will be posted at this URL with a revised effective date. For material changes, the Operator will provide reasonable notice by email or within the Service where possible. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of those Terms.
These Terms are governed exclusively by the laws of Singapore, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
Before commencing any legal proceedings, you agree to first attempt to resolve the dispute informally by contacting the Operator at the address below and allowing 30 days for a response.
If any provision of these Terms is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Operator regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, or representations relating to the subject matter.
If you downloaded PlopIt from Apple's App Store, these Terms are between you and the Operator only, not Apple, and the Operator (not Apple) is solely responsible for the PlopIt app and its content. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula) also applies to your use of the app. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app. To the extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app, and is not responsible for any claims relating to it, including product liability claims, claims that it fails to meet a legal or regulatory requirement, consumer protection claims, or claims that it infringes someone else's intellectual property. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
